Product detailed description
Fixed floating board which is intended for transport and fixation of the injured suspected spinal injury. The Maximum load capacity of this board is 350kg. It is intended for rescue operations in water, in the mountains and on roads. The Spencer Rock PIN Max spine plate attaches to the stretcher using a system of nylon Velcro straps, allowing the patient to be lifted during extrication or transport in difficult conditions even in a vertical position. Thanks to the polyethylene sliding blocks, this spine board can "slide" on the stairs. It is also possible to rotate the plate by 90°, for example when the patient is vomiting and it is necessary to prevent inhalation of liquids.
This spinal plate is suitable both for pediatric patients over 25kg and < strong>for adults. The headbands can be adjusted to minimize lateral movement during transport. The plate is fully compatible with the collar Spencer Contour and in combination with it the highest possible spinal fixation. The board can be placed in a basket stretcher, transferred to an ambulance or a helicopter. The injured person can be transported on this spinal board all the way to the operating table. Sliding blocks increase its load capacity and ensure that the board is more stable on uneven surfaces.
Spencer Rock PIN Max spine board is made from one piece of high density polyethylene to which is added expanded polyurethane. This new shaping method guarantees that the board floats on water and is impact and corrosion resistant. Does not absorb liquid and is immune to seepage. It is easy to clean (soap and water is enough) and is fully X-ray compatible (the patient can be removed from the spinal splint only after taking X-rays or a brain scan).
