Product detailed description
The world's first patented airbag system designed to reduce injury when falling from small heights. The Skylotec SKYVEST consists of a vest with reflectors and an integrated airbag made of a tear-resistant material that inflates in the event of a fall. This vest is inflated using a pressure bottle. The filling unit is connected to an electronic sensor unit that recognizes a fall situation based on parameters such as movement, acceleration and position of the person. It protects not only the chest and back, including the spine, but also the back of the head and the occiput >. The vest is put on with three clicks and can be used again after the airbag is activated. In addition, the airbag vest can be used flexibly, separately and universally for 24 hours.
The Skylotec SKYVEST vest offers optimal safety for activities at a height between 1.70m - 3.20m. The user should be 1.70 to 1.90 m tall and weigh a maximum of 100 kg. The vest is suitable, for example, for electricians or employees in building management, for truck drivers, dock workers, service technicians, garage builders, maintenance and repair workers or even private persons working on a ladder. The patented system can also be combined with an PPE belt.
The vest finds its application wherever a fall arrest system according to EN 363 is not yet required, but there is still a potential danger of falling. It offers a solution for an area where many accidents occur.
