Product detailed description
The new Zubat Ultimate saw offers improvements that guarantee an even faster and easier cut. The saw has a curved blade that cuts into wood more easily and aggressively. The length of the blade is 33 cm and is suitable for cutting branches up to 16.5 cm in diameter. Progressive teeth are one of the differences that distinguish the ultimate version from classic Zubat saws. The teeth start at a finer count of 7.5 teeth per 3 cm and end with a coarser 6.5 teeth per 3 cm. This means that the initial finer teeth make the cut easier to start and the saw won't jam, while the larger teeth at the end of the blade guarantee a lot of material loss. The cut is thus significantly faster than with blades with the same tooth spacing along the entire length of the blade. The saw will do the best work on soft or fresh wood. The teeth do not deviate from the leaf and have four cutting surfaces. This makes the cut cleaner and easier. The cutting surfaces of the teeth are additionally hardened with induction technology, which extends their service life up to three times and at the same time the saw blade remains flexible. If we look at the blade in more detail, another difference from the classic Zubat saw is the specially designed "scraping" teeth, which scrape the sawdust from the cut and throw it alternately to the right and left side. Finally, the entire blade is treated with a nickel surface to keep the teeth sharp and protected against corrosion.
The handle of the saw is made of GOM rubber material. It dampens vibrations when cutting and offers a firm grip even when wet or with gloves. In addition, it feels pleasantly warm even at very low temperatures.
The saw is supplied with a case with integrated plastic rollers. During handling, the saw does not dull unnecessarily and it holds well in the case. The advantage is that you can easily attach the case to the harness or with straps (sold separately) to the leg.
