Product detailed description
The screw is made of special steel, which is durable and malleable during work. The recessed head makes it suitable for steel plates. The minimum dimensions of the diameters of the connecting beams are 9 and 11 mm. The VGS screw is suitable for wood, glulam, X-Lam, LVL, wood-based joints, reinforcements and connectors. The use of a connector inclined at an angle of 45° in combination with a steel plate guarantees high sliding resistance and stiffness of the joint. The connector is ideal for lifting and transporting wooden elements thanks to the geometry of the head and the high-performance thread with excellent tensile strength. The overall geometry of the thread and the head, in combination with the steel plate, makes it possible to avoid crushing the wood due to vertical compression.
