  1. WHY WE NEED TO PROCESS YOUR DATA: We need to know your data for various reasons. For example, we need to know where to deliver the ordered goods, who to maintain a user account for, who to reserve a spot for in training, etc. However, we always process your data only to the extent necessary to achieve the intended purpose – we do not ask for more than we absolutely need.
    1. DATA PROCESSING ON THE ESHOP
      1. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING: As part of operating the e-shop, we may process your personal data in the following situations and for the purposes listed below:
        1. User Account (you register a user account for future purchases): For the purpose of registering and maintaining your user account, we process your data in the following scope: first and last name, titles, email, phone number, company ID (IČ), VAT number (DIČ), billing and delivery address. During registration, we also offer the option to subscribe to our newsletter, in which case we process your email for the purpose of sending updates about our offers. We process your data for maintaining your user account throughout its validity and for 1 year after its cancellation.
        2. Orders (you order goods in our e-shop): For the purpose of processing, fulfilling, and delivering your order, we process your data in the following scope: first and last name, titles, email, phone number, company ID (IČ), VAT number (DIČ), billing and delivery address, and the assigned variable symbol for payment of the order. We process data related to orders in accordance with accounting and tax regulations for a period of 10 years from the end of the year in which the order was fulfilled. After fulfilling your order, we may inform you by email with a commercial message regarding similar products and services, with an option in each message to opt out of further commercial communications.
        3. Inquiries (you contact us with a question, request, or suggestion): In this case, we process your data in the following scope: first and last name, email, or phone number, and any other information you provide to us, for the purpose of handling your inquiry or request. Unless otherwise agreed, we process the data until the communication is concluded and, in the case of email, we store the communication for 1 year.
        4. Complaints (you exercise your rights regarding defective performance): If you are unfortunately not satisfied with the purchased goods and file a complaint with us, we process your data for the purpose of resolving the complaint (and potentially refunding your money or providing other remedies) in the following scope: first and last name, company ID (IČ), VAT number (DIČ), employer (in the case of business purchases), address, phone number, email, delivery address, account number, amount paid, purchase date. We process the mentioned data for 3 years from the resolution of the complaint.
        5. Newsletter (you subscribe to our email updates): If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will process your email address for the purpose of sending occasional updates about our activities. We will keep your email address in our records until you withdraw your consent, otherwise for a period of 5 years. You can easily and freely withdraw your consent to receive updates at any time, either by emailing us at our contact address or by clicking the appropriate link in the messages sent. We strive to ensure that the content of the newsletter is of high quality, interesting, and relevant.
      2. DATA PROCESSING FOR TRAINING AND COURSES
        1. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING: In connection with our offering of training and courses, we may process your personal data in the following situations and for the purposes listed below:
          1. Orders: If you order a training or course from us, we process your personal data in the following scope: first and last name, titles, email, phone number, employer (or designated company), job position, company ID (IČ), VAT number (DIČ), billing and delivery address, assigned variable symbol for payment of the order, and previous experience in the relevant field. We process this data for the purpose of preparing and organizing the course or training, as well as for the purpose of pricing the order, processing it, and preparing the invoice. The mentioned data (related to invoicing) is processed for 10 years as required by accounting and tax regulations.
          2. Inquiries (you contact us with a question, request, or suggestion): In this case, we process your data in the following scope: first and last name, email or phone number, and any other information you provide to us, for the purpose of handling your inquiry or request. Unless otherwise agreed, we process the data until the communication is concluded, and in the case of email, we store the communication for 1 year.
          3. Course Attendance: For the purpose of ensuring the proper conduct of the training and its record-keeping, we process your personal data in the following scope: first and last name, date of birth, job position, employer, information on the level of acquired knowledge or experience, and attendance. We keep records of the training for 4 years.
          4. Security: For the purpose of ensuring safety and security of the premises, if the course or training is held in our facilities, we monitor the training area with cameras. We thus process your data in the scope of audiovisual recordings, stored for a predetermined retention period.
          5. Certificates (you complete a training that results in a certificate): At the end of the training or course, if you meet its conditions, we may issue a certificate of successful completion. For this purpose, we process your data in the scope of first and last name. Records of certification are stored in electronic form for 5 years.
        2. DATA PROCESSING FOR PPE INSPECTIONS
          1. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING: The inspections of personal protective equipment (PPE) that you can order from us also involve the processing of your personal data in the following situations:
            1. Orders: If you order an inspection from us, we process your personal data in the following scope: first and last name, titles, email, phone number, billing details, job position, company ID (IČ), VAT number (DIČ), and assigned variable symbol for payment of the order. This is done for the purpose of preparing and scheduling the inspection, processing the order, preparing the invoice and inspection report, as well as delivering and returning the equipment. We process data related to the order for 10 years according to applicable tax and accounting regulations.
            2. Inquiries (you contact us with a question, request, or suggestion): In this case, we process your data in the following scope: first and last name, email, or phone number, and any other information you provide to us, for the purpose of handling your inquiry or request. Unless otherwise agreed, we process the data until the communication is concluded, and in the case of email, we store the communication for 1 year.
          2. OTHER PROCESSING
            1. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING: Furthermore, we may process your personal data in the following situations:
              1. You visit our website worksafety.cz: If you are just browsing our website, we collect and process small data files called cookies, which help us understand what interests you most on our site and how to best tailor it to your needs and devices. The data we collect this way is only about how our website is used, not about you as the user. Our website also contains tracking codes from the Zboží.cz service, in accordance with the personal data protection principles of Seznam.cz, a.s., published at https://o.seznam.cz/ochrana-udaju/. More information on cookie settings can be found in Article 9 of these principles.
              2. We publish photos or videos of you: We like to document our activities, so it’s possible that your photos or videos may appear on our website, social media, or other platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Flickr). We always strive to obtain your consent for publication (for example, before starting a documented training session); however, documenting our activities for the purpose of presenting our services is also our legitimate interest, for which consent is not required. If you decide that you do not want your photos to be published by us, please inform us by email and specify the particular photos, so that we can accommodate your request.
            2. LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING
              1. We may process personal data only if the law permits us to do so. The law allows us to process your personal data on the basis of one of the following legal grounds:
                1. Contract Performance: We rely on this ground when we process your data in connection with placing and processing orders, preparing contracts, organizing courses and training, or managing your user account.
                2. Compliance with Legal Obligations: Sometimes we must process your data directly due to legal requirements. This occurs, for example, when preparing and maintaining invoices and accounting documents or processing inspection reports.
                3. Legitimate Interests of the Controller: We also process your data based on our legitimate interests, specifically:
                  1. the interest in improving our online services by collecting data on their traffic and the devices from which users access them;
                  2. the interest in ensuring the proper delivery of our services in connection with receiving, recording, and handling your inquiries, complaints, or suggestions;

        1. Operator of the internal information system for organizing work agendas, contracts, invoicing, and documentation (the relevant operator performs only the data storage operation);
        2. Web hosting provider where our website worksafety.cz is hosted;
        3. Provider of the Shoptet Premium e-commerce platform, Shoptet, a.s.;
        4. Operator of platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Flickr, and provider of Google tools for tracking user interaction on our website;
        5. External carriers who handle the delivery of shipments to your delivery address;
        6. External providers of accounting and legal services;
        7. External provider of the email marketing tool Ecomail.cz s.r.o.
        8. External security service.
    2. YOUR RIGHTS
      1. Overview of Rights: Legal regulations guarantee you the following rights regarding your personal data, which you can exercise:
        1. Right to Access Personal Data: If you are unsure about which of your personal data we process and how, you can contact us, and we will be happy to inform you.
        2. Right to Rectify/Complete Personal Data: If we hold inaccurate or incorrect data about you and you discover this, please inform us of the situation. We will correct it. Registered users can also change their personal data directly in their user account or before submitting each order.
        3. Right to Erasure of Personal Data – Right to be “Forgotten”: If you wish to be “forgotten” and no longer want us to process your data, let us know. Upon your request (and if certain conditions are met, especially if we no longer need to process the data or it is no longer required), we will erase your data without undue delay.
        4. Right to Restrict Processing of Personal Data: You can also request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
        5. Right to Data Portability: If you request it and it is feasible (without affecting the rights of third parties), we will transfer the data we process about you to another controller upon your request.
        6. Right to Object to the Processing of Personal Data: If you believe that the data we process based on our legitimate interests (or ours) should not be processed, do not hesitate to contact us. We will thoroughly examine your objection and assess whether this is indeed the case. If we find that it is, we will no longer process your data.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE AND UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE NEWSLETTER: If you subscribe to our newsletter on our website, you consent to receiving updates about our company’s activities and the services we provide. We strive to make these updates interesting and closely related to what we do. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the relevant link in the footer of the received messages or by sending a free email to info@pavouci.cz, indicating that you no longer wish to receive updates. After unsubscribing, we will stop processing your personal data (email address) for the purpose of sending newsletters.
      2. HOW LONG YOU WILL RECEIVE THE NEWSLETTER: After subscribing, we will send you the newsletter for a period of 5 years unless you unsubscribe earlier. During this time, we will process your personal data (name and email address).
      3. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS AND HOW WE HANDLE IT: For the purpose of sending the newsletter, we process only your email address. The email address is included in the newsletter subscriber database in the Ecomail application operated by Ecomail.cz s.r.o., which acts as a processor and performs only the operation of storing email addresses for us. The processor will not use your email address for any other purposes, such as sending its own informational messages.
