Product detailed description
AVAO BOD FAST is a full-body harness designed for fall arrest, work positioning, and rope access work. Its wide, semi-rigid waist belt and leg loops provide excellent support. The lightweight, breathable construction maximizes airflow. The shoulder straps are equipped with holders for stowing connectors of fall arrest lanyards, keeping them always within reach. DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the connecting straps at the back of the harness, between the waist belt and leg loops, allow adjustment of the distance between the leg loops and the waist belt when using the dorsal attachment point. The harness is equipped with multiple attachment points for stowing gear and tools, gear loops, slots for CARITOOL tool holders, and loops for TOOLBAG pouches. It fastens with a carabiner with a screw-lock mechanism (SCREW-LOCK) and is certified to European and Russian standards. AVAO BOD FAST features leg loops with FAST LT automatic buckles.
Comfortable for all-day use:
- The wide, semi-rigid waist belt and leg loops provide excellent support.

- Padded shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce neck chafing. When the waist belt is loaded with equipment, the weight is evenly distributed across the shoulder straps.
Convenient adjustment:
- The waist belt and shoulder straps are equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles for quick and easy adjustments.
- Leg loops feature FAST LT automatic buckles for quick and easy fastening and unfastening without readjustment, even while wearing gloves.
- Holders for MGO connectors of fall arrest lanyards on each shoulder strap allow connectors to be stowed, ensuring lanyard loops do not interfere with work while remaining easily accessible.
- In the event of a fall, the system releases MGO connectors to activate the fall absorber. Side attachment points can be folded away to prevent accidental snagging when not in use.
- DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the connecting straps at the back of the harness allow the distance between the waist belt and leg loops to be shortened when using the dorsal attachment point.
- This adjustment ensures better load distribution to the leg loops in the event of a fall, allowing the user to remain more comfortably suspended while waiting for rescue.
Facilitates tool carrying and organization:
- Six pre-shaped gear loops with protective sheaths. Two slots for CARITOOL tool holders. Four slots for TOOLBAG tool pouches.

- Front attachment point: For connecting a descender or positioning lanyard in single-mode use.
- Side attachment points: For connecting positioning lanyards in dual-mode use.
- Chest attachment point: For connecting a fall arrest system.
- Dorsal attachment point: For connecting a fall arrest system.
- Rear attachment point on the waist belt: For connecting a restraint system.
