Product detailed description
Compact and universal hand blocker with excellent grip. The PETZL BASIC hand-held blocker is especially intended for work at heights and SRT (single-rope ascent technique in tree climbing). Universal: used when climbing a fixed rope (climbing a single rope) or as a retaining block in pull-out systems. A cam equipped with spikes, with a self-cleaning groove, optimizes the operation of the blocker in any conditions (e.g. frozen or dirty ropes). Stainless steel cam for better corrosion resistance. The wide lower opening allows easy connection of carabiners and connecting means as well as footrests. Upper hole for a locking carabiner.
