ABSORBICA-Y MGO is a double connection device with an integrated fall absorber, designed for movement along vertical structures or along a horizontal securing line (textile or steel rope) with progressive anchor points. It is available in two lengths, 80 or 150 cm (without carabiners). The 150 cm long version has elastic loops so that it does not restrict the progress. With MGO couplings on loops and a Bm´D connection carabiner with a STRING guard, the ABSORBICA-Y MGO is certified according to European, North American and Russian standards.
Absorbs impact energy in the event of a fall:
- Gradually tearing out the webbing seams absorbs the energy of the fall and dampens the impact force acting on the user
- For user weight from 50 to 130 kg including equipment
- Progressive plucking reduces slow plucking for light users
Small size:
- Compact, for easy handling
- The 150 cm version has elastic drawstring loops to avoid restricting progress
- Durable fabric case with an opening system at each end, protects the damper from abrasion or dirt and allows for regular inspection of the absorber
Two harness installation options, depending on use:
- For frequent connecting / disconnecting, use a carabiner with a STRING protector (included in the package) or a MICRO SWIVEL hinge to avoid tangling
- For a low disconnection frequency, use the RING OPEN connection ring, whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning, or the SWIVEL OPEN hinge to prevent tangling
Two variants of carabiners at the ends of the loops:
- Comes with two special high capacity MGO couplers and a Bm'D connecting carabiner with STRING guard
- Available in two lengths, 80 and 150 cm
