Product detailed description
A fall arrester with an integrated double loop which is designed to be secured when walking on vertical metal structures or along the horizontal securing line. It is also suitable for passing progressive anchor points. The PETZL ABSORBICA-Y fall absorber reliably absorbs energy in the event of a fall by tearing the absorber strap, thereby limiting the impact force on the user. Progressive tearing reduces deceleration for lighter users and isdesigned for users from 50kg to 130kg. Available in lengths of 80cm and 150cm (without couplings). The 150cm version has elastic drawstring loops. A durable fabric case with an opening system at both ends protects the energy absorber from abrasion or dirt and allows for regular inspection. Both carabiners with a lock and couplings can be attached to the straps Petzl MGO Open.
The silencer offers two options for installation on the harness, depending on the use:
1. connection or disconnection: with the carabiner held in the correct position by the divider Petzl String (included in package)
2. semi-permanent connection: with Petzl Ring Open, whose circular shape ensures an optimal position or with a swivel hinge Petzl Swivel Open
