Product detailed description
ABSORBICA-I VARIO is an adjustable simple lanyard with fall arrester, without carabiners, intended for progressing along a horizontal belay line (textile or steel rope) or on an elevated platform without passing between continuous anchor points. Works with users weighing between 50 and 140 kg. It is equipped with the VARIO adjustment system, which allows you to adjust the length of the rope to reduce the length of a possible fall. Depending on the couplings used, ABSORBICA-I VARIO is certified according to American, European and Russian standards.
- For progress under a horizontal securing line (textile or steel rope) or on a raised platform without continuous anchor points.
- The VARIO adjustment system allows you to adjust the length of the loop from 100 to 150 cm to reduce the length of a possible fall.
Absorbs shock energy in the event of a fall:
- Gradually pulling out the stitched straps of the shock absorber reduces the impact force acting on the user
- Works with users who weigh between 50 and 140 kg (1)
- Progressive ripping reduces slowdown for light users
Minimum Volume:
- Compact damper makes handling easier
- Durable fabric case with an opening system at each end, protects the muffler from abrasion or dirt while allowing for regular inspection
Two harness installation options depending on use:
- Frequent connect/disconnect: clutch kept in correct position by STRING protector (included in loop)
- Permanent demountable connection: the RING OPEN demountable ring, whose circular shape enables optimal positioning
- Two options for using couplings at the end of the loop: coupling with automatic lock safety or MGO OPEN automatic coupling with large latch clearance
