Product detailed description
The VASAK climbing irons are classic crampons for hiking. With 12 spikes they provide good stability and traction in terrain from glaciers to snow couloirs. They come in two different binding options to accommodate different types of footwear, with or without toe and heel grooves.
Designed for traditional mountaineering:
- 12 spikes for better grip and walking comfort
- Two long, wide front spikes offer effective traction and solid grip on hard snow
- ANTISNOW anti-piling pads reduce snow build-up on crampons in a variety of snow conditions
- Available with two different binding systems to accommodate different types of boots, with or without toe and heel grooves: LEVERLOCK UNIVERSEL for boots with grooves, FLEXLOCK for boots without grooves
- Two-stage connecting crossbars for a wide range of shoe sizes (36-50)
- Size adjustment without tools
- Used steel for maximum durability
- Optimal weight: maximum 895g with snow pack pads
