Product detailed description
Ultralight brake for belaying and rappelling. It is used to belay a first climber, one or two second climbers and for abseiling. It is effective in every situation and can be used for ropes of different diameters and types. Suitable for sport climbing.
Multipurpose and easy to use:
- classic belaying technique with both hands on the rope
- the rope passes smoothly through the brake
- can be used for abseiling
- belay rope installation drawings and Reverse mode shown on brake body
Adaptable to a wide range of rope diameters:
- V-shaped friction grooves allow control of braking
- Compatibility with 8.5 to 10.5mm diameter dynamic ropes (11mm possible, depending on rope flexibility)
- compatible with dynamic half ropes with a diameter of 7.1 to 9.2 mm
- compatible with 6.9 to 9.2mm dynamic twin ropes
Durable and lightweight:
- the rounded shape of the cable grooves reduces wear and extends the life of the brake
- compact and light: only 55 g
