A compact and lightweight ice axe designed for classic alpinism and glacier travel.
Lightweight and Comfortable:
- The head provides an excellent grip
- Both the pick and shaft are lightweight yet extremely durable and strong
Excellent Anchoring Performance in Hard Snow and Ice:
- The shape of the pick ensures a secure and stable placement
- The forged stainless steel pick is serrated, with a 3 mm thick tip that widens toward the head
- The lower end of the shaft features a forged stainless steel spike, making penetration into hard snow easier
High Strength and Practical Features:
- High-quality steel pick (same material used in technical ice tools)
- Extremely durable steel adze provides support for a comfortable grip, with beveled edges for efficient step cutting
- The adze angle directs the axe into the snow in the correct position (when used in "piolet-canne" mode)
- Both the head and spike include openings for attaching a carabiner or sling
- The LINKIN leash is included as standard
- The shaft is made from high-quality 7075 aluminum, commonly used in aerospace applications, and is anodized for enhanced protection
- The lower part of the shaft features ergonomic grooves for improved grip
- Available in three lengths: 60 cm, 68 cm, and 75 cm
