The auxiliary line PUR LINE 6 mm is intended for climbers and alpinists, it is ultra-light and ultra-resistant to wear. It is used to pull up equipment on bigwalls, or as a second, auxiliary rope pull strand when abseiling on a single rope. It is hyperstatic and has a special braid with a rough structure for a good grip and easy handling. It is produced in two lengths: 65 meters and 200 meters per spool.
Ultralight and compact: only 20 grams per meter
Easier to grip and handle:
- The rigid cord facilitates folding in the belay position (on the stand) as well as throwing the rope during abseiling
- The coarse braid structure provides a good grip when pulling the load and pulling the single rope during abseiling
Extremely Durable:
- 100% HMPE (high modulus polyethylene) construction that is extremely abrasion resistant
- Compatible with all Petzl exit blockers and blocker pulleys thanks to the specific reinforced braid
- Supplied on a 200 meter spool, with the option of cutting to the required length, or coiled in a 65 meter long doll to compensate for the stretch of the dynamic 60m dynamic rope during abseiling
