Product detailed description
Additional braking means which enables the use of mechanical brakes PETZL ZIGZAG 2019 and PETZL ZIGZAG PLUS for SRT technique. The PETZL CHICANE additional brake ensures continuous friction during abseiling and as an assembled unit together with the prussic guarantees smooth passage of the rope during ascents. Ergonomic handle provides excellent grip and allows movement when walking on branches. Thanks to the opening side, installation is easy and fast. Designed for ropes with a diameter of 11.5 - 13mm.
This additional brake is only compatible with carabiners: PETZL Am´D BALL LOCK, PETZL Am´D TRIACT-LOCK 2016, PETZL OK BALL LOCK and PETZL OK TRIACT LOCK.
It is possible to order the PETZL KNEE ASCENT LOOP knee blocker for this additional brake with footrest or with carabiner.
