Product detailed description
Descent brake with assisted braking that improves control during descent. The abseiling brake PETZL STOP is intended for low tensile ropes with a sheathed core (semi-static) with a diameter of 8.5 - 11 mm and is suitable for speleology. Handling the rope is facilitated when passing the progressive anchor points Ergonomic handle of this brake ensures an extremely comfortable grip, unblocking of the rope and lowering of people strong>. At the same time, the handle is directed towards the user, which guarantees better control of the slippage of the rope. An installation diagram is engraved on the brake body. A Safety Latch on the swivel side allows easy installation of the rope while the device remains attached to the harness. The oval connecting hole allows the FREINO Z carabiner to be rotated in such a way as to prevent the loss of the brake when switching from the harness connecting eye to the semi-circular carabiner. The friction segments are made of stainless steel, which ensures a long service life of this product.
