Product detailed description
SIMPLE is an abseiling brake designed for speleology and is easy to operate. It is used with low tensile ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm. Smaller dimensions and weight simplify the process in narrow passages. The life of the device can be optimized by turning the rollers or replacing them.
Easy to use:
- very easy to use, rappelling speed is controlled by changing the grip of the hand on the free end of the rope
- installation diagram engraved on the brake body
- a safety latch on the swivel sidewall allows for easy rope insertion while the device remains attached to the harness, making it easy to bypass progress anchor points
- oval connection hole allows the FREINO Z carabiner to be rotated to prevent loss of brake when transitioning from harness connection eye to semi-circular carabiner
- compatible with low tensile ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm
Light and compact:
- only 240 g
- consists of two aluminum pulleys to reduce weight
- smooth construction reduces the risk of getting caught in narrow passages
Brake life can be optimized by rotating or replacing the pulleys (D004CA00).
