Rope with a special treatment that indicates acid damage. Just 20 seconds exposure of a rope to some types of acids can result in a 25% loss of strength. Longer exposure will cause greater loss of strength. With the Marlow pH-I STATIC LSK Black Felck rope, the user can tell if it has been exposed to such an influence. The rope is suitable for industrial use where there is a risk of damage due to exposure to acids and thanks to its properties, the user will know if it is safe to use.
