The Marlow FAST ROPE is specially designed for use in military and rescue operations . It allows for rapid helicopter drop that requires no special abseiling equipment or harness. Fast rope is made of strong material nylon.
Fast rope is used in airborne missions and quick interventions, when it is necessary to quickly drop soldiers or rescue team members to the ground. The advantage of fast rope compared to other methods of landing, for example using abseiling or parachutes, is speed and accuracy. The helicopter can also stay in the air, ensuring quick and flexible movement of the team to the target location. Participants can quickly launch for fast oil and immediately take up a fighting position or perform a rescue action. Compared to classic abseiling, this method of abseiling is up to four times faster.
Fast rope is also useful in situations where the helicopter cannot land on the ground. Fast rope can prove to be the best parachute option in difficult terrain, on water or in an environment with tall buildings.
The use of fast oil requires special training and skills to minimize the risk of injury and ensure the safety of participants. Military and rescue teams must be properly trained in fast rope descent techniques, as well as safety measures related to rope handling and helicopter descent.
