Farfalle, farfalloni, farfalline... they all mean the same thing - butterflies, smaller or bigger! This beloved type of pasta is popular for its delicate surface and cheerful shape, combining a thick centre with thinner wings. It is said that the variety of textures makes farfalle particularly suited to creamy sauces, and we couldn't agree more. We imagined them in a pretty classic Italian accompaniment with spinach and Gorgonzola cheese, garnished with almond flakes. It seems we cooked it right, because LYO Farfalle has been captivating the palates of adventure-hungry outdoor enthusiasts since day one.
The food is freeze-cooked and seasoned before drying.
