Product detailed description
Compact and lightweight abseiling device that can be attached to the user's harness and kept with them at all times. It is intended for special use by emergency and military units. It allows quick and efficient use when needed.
The device is operable with one hand and enables controlled abseiling. This is possible thanks to specially designed progressive cams and a 6 mm diameter rope. It offers comparable performance and characteristics as when rappelling on an 11 mm rope. This is important for quick or emergency descents. Compared to the D1PRO Escape Kit version, the brake has a spur to increase friction if needed. The brake is also equipped with an auto-stop function, which stops the device if the control lever is released.
Quadra Rope is a rope with a nylon core that protects jacket made of Technora material. The braid of the rope starts to melt only at a temperature of 498 °C and the nylon core at a temperature of 215 - 221 °C. The braid of this rope can withstand faster and longer abseiling.
The set includes the D1PRO TACTICAL Descender abseil device, Double Avtion Snaphook carabiner, Offset Oval triple lock harness carabiner, Cordura material case and Quadra Rope in length 15 m, 20 m, 50 m, 100 m, 220 m.
