Its valve under the robust cap offers, after a few turns of the thread, three outlets. The entire valve does not need to be unscrewed and the whole operation is easy to perform even with warm gloves. The robust cap acts as a perfect cup for safe pouring in the wind. There is a silicone anti-slip pad on the bottom of the thermos.
