- the bucket can also be used when picking up a second climber from above
- V-shaped grooves increase friction
- for maximum friction, the rope can be guided over a "T" beam (can be used for belaying and rappelling)
- when the rope is placed upside down in the bucket, the friction effect is reduced
- when picking up the second climber from above, the beam is used to raise the lever, relieve and release the locked rope
