A new belaying experience with PINCH, a versatile belay device with arresting support for use in sport climbing and multi-pitch climbing. PINCH is the first device on the market that can be hooked directly into the center ring of a climbing harness. Thanks to its low position when closed, the PINCH does not need to be fixed when dispensing the rope, and the brake rope can always be grasped with all fingers. In addition, the compact safety system ensures a larger span, with which the belaying person can pull 20-30 cm more rope at once. The linear path of the rope through the front steel braking grooves reduces tangling of the rope during lowering and abseiling. In addition to the release lever, the speed can be controlled by hand pressure on the brake, which contributes to increased control, especially when using thin, soft ropes. Anti-panic function provides additional security for beginners. Experienced users can permanently disable the anti-panic function using the supplied screw.
