Product detailed description
A new version of the hook intended for modern tree climbing techniques, which was specially designed for easier and safer securing in the crown of the tree when climbing more distant branches. The new version of the DMM Captain hook has a higher strength, namely 23kN and a reinforced construction. >The rotatable, removable D-ring is hot-forged and compatible with textiles, in addition, it eliminates torsional friction and works well with the hook, thanks to which ensuring a reliable place in branches with a diameter of max. 90mm!
The hook fits perfectly to the harness, which is why the probability of a sudden snagging or getting stuck is minimized. The construction is gentle on the bark of the tree. The body is made on a CNC machine, which guarantees a precise and perfect shape. A DMM carabiner XSRE can be attached to the hook, into which a rescue (punching ) cable, or with the help of which the hook can be attached to the harness.
