Product detailed description
HotSeat is an innovative evacuation rescue triangle that is specially designed for rapid transportation of people by helicopter. Its main goal is to speed up rescue actions and secure the patient in a stable position in a semi-sitting position, without the need to put the patient in a classic harness.
One of the main advantages of the HotSeat is its variability and ability to safely evacuate both adults and children or larger persons weighing up to 227 kg. HotSeat is made of durable 1000 denier nylon, which ensures a long service life even under demanding conditions.
The evacuation harness is equipped with Cobra quick-release buckles, which allow easy and quick engagement of the child safety system. HI-VIZ handles on the outside of the harness give rescuers leverage and increase control when handling the patient during loading and unloading. Additional handles are positioned to help keep the patient in an upright position.
The harness is equipped with labeled attachment loops that offer rescuers multiple control options and allow the harness to be tailored to the specific needs of a rescue operation. The handles are additionally reinforced, which increases their strength and durability. The fastening system is simplified to prevent unintentional tightening of the harness on the patient.
CMC Helitack HotSeat is equipped with reflective elements that reflect light and provide better visibility even in low light conditions. In addition, the equipment includes a removable storage compression bag which, when unpacked, serves as a practical bag for necessary material, such as a patient helmet or other safety equipment.
It is important to note that the HotSeat is not intended for patients with spinal injuries or injuries that require stretcher evacuation.
