Product detailed description
The certified Helitack AirBag is a high-quality and safe means of transporting a patient under a helicopter over short distances. This AirBag is classified according to NFPA standards and is designed to meet the demanding requirements of rescue operations. It can be used both with and without a spine board, which increases its flexibility and versatility.
The AirBag is compatible with most spinal boards, rigid stretchers and vacuum splints, allowing easy integration with existing rescue equipment. It features integrated machined aluminum Cobra® quick release buckles that are secure and easy to adjust, speeding up the patient loading and unloading process.
For quick access to the patient during surgery, the CMC Helitack AirBag has double-sided access ports. It is also equipped with an adjustable hood that protects the patient's face from external influences. It is suspended under the helicopter using two steel D-rings. Internal straps with Cobra Buckles® ensure firm and secure fixation of the upper part of the patient.
AirBag has three color-coded inner straps with quick release buckles, which make packing the patient easier and faster. Ten Hi-Viz Support Handles are strategically placed to assist in carrying, positioning and loading the patient. The safety reflective strip along the entire length of the AirBag reflects light and ensures high visibility at night.
Two side storage pockets provide practical storage space for small rescue equipment. The inner and outer fabric of the AirBag are easy to clean, which facilitates their maintenance and ensures a long life of the product. The equipment also includes a quick-removable storage bag, which enables easy and efficient packing and transport of the AirBag.
