Product detailed description
The Voyager ski mountaineering helmet is designed to meet the strict ISMF regulations and thus meets the certifications for mountaineering (EN 12492) and alpine skiing (EN 1077/B). Dual certification guarantees higher safety against side impacts and better protects the skier's head. To meet the strict EN 1077/B standard certification, an in-mold construction with an extremely hard and impact-resistant ABS plastic shell is used. The inner core is made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), which is additionally reinforced with a layer of polycarbonate (PC), which helps absorb impacts and increases durability. For maximum breathability, 17 holes were placed in the jacket. The helmet can be fine-tuned with the included linings (5mm and 10mm) exactly to the head, it can be adapted according to current needs as a downhill, ski-alpine or climbing helmet thanks to the detachable ear covers and the pull-down wheel. These accessories make the Voyager a great helmet for all types of skiing. Headlamp or ski goggle holders are a matter of course, which keep accessories exactly in place. The attachment system for accessories on the helmet is easy even with gloves and without the need to remove the helmet. Voyager is also equipped with the RECCO® system, thanks to which the signal of a lost or buried person can be picked up using the RECCO® receiving board, ATTENTION the system does not replace a classic avalanche finder!
