Product detailed description
Turbohand Pro is a manual blocker that facilitates rope ascent. It uses cutting-edge technology and an innovative design, which makes the ascent safer, faster and, moreover, gentle on the rope. It uses a patented bell, which not only helps smoother movement along the rope, but also reduces friction and thus the risk of damage to the rope. The ergonomic rubberized handle extends to the top of the blocker, making it very efficient to use the other hand to climb up. The CAMP Turbohand PRO blocker is in a parallel position with the rope during ascent, which guarantees the best and the most efficient ascent. Three large eyes, two on the bottom and one on the top of the blocker, are used for optimal organization of accessories. Blokant Turbohand PRO is available in both right- and left-hand versions and is suitable for ropes from 8mm to 13mm. The robust body is made of 3.5 mm thick aluminum alloy. The toothed cam has a special anti-wear surface treatment and is provided with holes to help prevent the accumulation of dirt. The opening system is protected against accidental opening from both sides.
The presence of the bell also makes it possible to use the Turbohand Pro as a blocking pulley with a load of up to 50kg. ATTENTION: This configuration does not allow the use of the blocker for pulling or securing people. In this configuration, the steel Turbohand Guide is added to the lower part of the blocker for better rope stability during long ascents (it is easily removable).
