Product detailed description
Turbohand is a manual blocker that facilitates rope ascent. It uses top technology and an innovative construction, thanks to which the ascent is safer, faster and, moreover, gentle on the rope. It uses a patented bell, which not only helps to move more smoothly along the rope, but also reduces friction and thus also the risk of damage to the rope. The ergonomic rubberized handle extends to the top of the blocker, making it very efficient to use the other hand to climb up. The CAMP Turbohand blocker is in a parallel position with the rope during ascent, which guarantees the best and most efficient ascent. Three large eyes, two on the bottom and one on the top of the blocker, are used for optimal organization of accessories. Blokant Turbohand is available in both right- and left-handed versions and is suitable for ropes from 8mm to 13mm. The robust body is made of 3.5mm thick aluminum alloy. The toothed cam has a special anti-wear surface treatment and is provided with holes to help prevent the accumulation of dirt. The opening system is protected against accidental opening from both sides. The presence of the bell also makes it possible to use the Turbohand as a blocking pulley with a load of up to 50 kg. CAUTION: This configuration does not allow the use of the blocker to pull or secure people. A steel guide (Turbohand Guide, sold separately) can be added with two screws to the bottom of the blocker for better rope stability during long ascents.
