Product detailed description
Turbochest is a revolutionary chest blocker equipped with 2 patented rotating bells for smooth passage of the rope. Bells not only maintain maximum efficiency, but also significantly reduce the wear and tear of the product and the rope itself. The toothed cam is equipped with special protection against wear and contains drain holes that prevent mud, sand or ice from settling. To maintain maximum rope contact for efficiency, drain holes are also provided in the blocker body along the path of the cable passing through.
The thicker blocker body and shaped connection point reduce wear between the device and the connector caused by displacement (especially when use with steel carabiners). This also helps keep the blocker in the correct position relative to the body. Operation of the Turbochest blocker is easy even with gloves, thanks to the strap on the cam. At the same time, the rotating bells allow the Turbochest to be used as a safety pulley for the transport of light items up to 50 kg. However, in no case should this system be used to secure a person during a rescue.
