Product detailed description
SKIMO Pure Nanotech are the lightest steel crampons in the world suitable for ski mountaineering and racing ski mountaineering. The jacks are made with Sandvik Nanoflex nanotechnology, based on a special steel that is 70% stronger and 20% harder than traditional steel, which allows the use of a thinner cross-section (1.8 mm), which makes the jacks not only lighter, but also stronger and more durable. The advantage of the Skimo Pure Nanotech cats is the central connecting bridge, which has holes drilled asynchronously in two rows and thus enables a more accurate setting of the cat size. Another trick is to adjust the size for smaller shoes by simply moving the connecting bridge to the edge of the heel. The boots can thus easily be adjusted to a shoe size of 210-330mm (EU size 36-46). The SKIMO Pure Nanotech crampons are prepared for shoes with a bar in the front (Automatic crampons), which can also be turned upside down to adapt the crampons to shoes that have a front bar lower than standard shoes. This sophisticated front fastening of the shoe is called the T-STOP system. The shoes can be optimized even for shoes without a safety bar, just buy an additional part CAMP SKIMO Semi-Automatic Toe Bail (2589). SKIMO Pure Nanotech cats also allow replacing the central connecting bridge with CAMP Skimo Dyneema Linking Strap< /a> (2596), thereby reducing both the weight of the cats and the size of the package.
