SKIMO Nanotech are 10 pointed aluminum crampons with front steel spikes, specially developed for ski mountaineering. The construction of the crampons is based on ultra-light aluminum 7075. The front spikes, made of very durable Sandvik Nanoflex stainless steel, enable safe climbing even on steeper frozen and icy slopes. A huge advantage of the CAMP SKIMO Nanotech jacks is the central connecting bridge, which has holes drilled asynchronously in two rows and thus enables a more precise adjustment of the jack size. Another trick is to adjust the size for smaller shoes by simply moving the connecting bridge to the edge of the heel. The boots can thus easily be adjusted to a shoe size of 210-330mm (EU size 36-46). SKIMO Nanotech crampons are prepared for shoes with a bar in the front, which can also be turned upside down to adapt the crampons to shoes that have a front bar lower than standard shoes. The shoes can be optimized even for shoes without a safety bar, just buy an additional part CAMP SKIMO Semi-Automatic Toe Bail. SKIMO Nanotech cats also allow replacing the central connecting bridge with CAMP Skimo Dyneema Linking Strap, thereby reducing both the weight of the cats and the size of the package.
