You are literally "dancing" on thin ice, with a dizzying depth below you. No place to advance or good security anywhere, just thin ice underfoot. Your rescue hangs on your harness in the form of an extra short CAMP Rocket XS 9cm screw. You take the screw out of the slot, which you quickly screw in and use it and the loop to swing to safer terrain, where it is possible to be secured. The nervousness subsided slightly, and after a few meters you reach a good belay and then continue to the end of the path without much difficulty. The CAMP Rocket XS 9cm is the shortest version of the glacier screw for thin ice derived from the CAMP Rocket model. Thanks to the chrome-plated steel construction, extra low weight, high strength and durability are achieved. The patented front teeth were designed for the fastest and easiest drilling even in the most frozen ice. The pitch of the thread is ideally set for easy screwing and the height of the thread for secure locking. To increase comfort and efficiency, the screw is supplemented with a folding steel handle, which can be operated comfortably even with thicker gloves. The hinged handles are color-coded for easy size recognition.
