Product detailed description
CAMP Safety DRUID PRO is a light and compact abseil brake with automatic locking for work at heights and rescue services. The brake is intended for static ropes with a diameter of 9.9 – 11 mm. The Druid PRO is designed exclusively for experienced users, it is intentionally not equipped with an "anti-panic" function! Both the body and the lever are made of solid forged aluminum alloy. The moving parts are made of precision cast stainless steel. The internal cam mechanism arrangement is patented and offers very fine rope control along with gentle slippage in the event of a fall being caught, saving the rope and increasing its life. Feeding the rope when belaying the exit is facilitated by a protrusion for the right index finger, located on the movable part of the cam near the belay eye. It is enough to open the cam with your index finger and thus quickly feed a longer piece of rope. In the event of an accidental fall into a loose cam in this way, the breaker has no chance to hold the cam loose with one finger, the cam immediately retracts when the rope is tensioned and prevents it from slipping. The steel eyelet is used to fasten the abseil brake to a fixed point and thus prevents it from dropping to the ground.

- EN 12841/C: abseil brake for a working rope with a maximum load of up to 120 kg, it can also be used for rescue when working at heights with a maximum load of up to 200 kg
- EN 341/2A: rescue and evacuation abseil brake for 11 mm static ropes with a maximum load up to 120 kg
- EN 15151: for ascents to structures when using climbing techniques with dynamic ropes with a diameter of 9.9 – 11 mm
