Product detailed description
C.A.M.P brand story is the story of the development of ice axes. The first one was forged by Antonio Codega in his father's workshop in Premana already in 1920. Then Cassin, Lowe or Kukuczka entered the story and the solution is that Premana today produces some of the lightest ice axes in the world. Corsa Alpine is one of them. The Ultralight aluminum ax was provided by the blacksmiths there with edges that prevent the ice ax from slipping out of the hand. They then put a durable steel head with laser-cut holes in the ax, and these helped reduce the weight of the entire ice ax down to 265 grams (55 cm long). Which is as much as the weight of three expresky Dyon
