In 1843, Frederick STANLEY established a small workshop in New Britain, Connecticut, USA, where he manufactured braces, hinges and other ironwork. With its emphasis on quality and continuous product improvement and refinement of manufacturing processes, STANLEY and its products have become synonymous with premium quality.
