ABSORBICA-I 150 is a simple fastener with integrated fall damper, designed for advancing along a horizontal securing line (textile or steel rope) or on an elevated platform, without passing through intermediate anchor points. For users weighing between 60 and 140 kg including equipment. It has several options for connection to the harness and can be used with different types of couplings.
- It is designed for advancement along a horizontal belay line (textile or steel rope) or on an elevated platform, without passing through progressive anchor points .
- Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:
- Gradual ripping of the shock absorber strap seams reduces the impact force on the user
- For users with a total weight between 60 and 140 kg including equipment (1) - Designed for use with a maximum length (including couplings) of:
- 200 cm per CE EN 355
- 183 cm (6 ft) per ANSI Z359.13 - Minimum volume:
- Very compact design does not hinder the user during the procedure
- Elastic loop allows for smooth procedure - Low fabric sleeve with easy opening system protects the shock absorber from abrasion or dirt while allowing for regular inspection
- Two options for installation on the harness depending on the application:
- Frequent connection/disconnection - by means of a coupling kept in the correct position by the STRING positioning protector (included in the rope)
- Temporary-permanent connection: by means of the RING OPEN ring, whose circular shape allows optimal positioning - Two options for end-of-loop couplings: locking coupling or MGO OPEN coupling with large clearance latch
