Product detailed description
Immobilizer, which is designed to ensure optimal fixation of the injured head. The Spencer Contour collar together with the use of the spine plate Spencer Rock PIN and a fixed neck collar, it allows long and otherwise uncomfortable transport of the wounded in critical condition. The shape of the head fixator was created by professional rescuers and tested in practice! Physiologically supports the braincase and avoids further compression of the skull as much as possible, while strengthening the fixation of the spine by the cervical collar.
The head immobilizer consists of two one-piece blocks, which are made of soft plastic material and a base with straps, with which the fixator is attached to different types of stretchers. Both blocks are attached to the base with durable velcro. The base can be attached to any spine board, either with straps or with Velcro. There is an opening in each block, which allows the rescuer to better communicate with the injured. Furthermore, the rescuer can observe the auditory system of the injured person and check whether there is any loss of blood or other body fluids. The blocks are without joints and have a strong protective layer that guarantees a long life of the model. Two single blocks can be attached to the base. For both adults and children, thanks to an additional removable pad.
The Spencer Contour collar is made of impermeable materials that prevent the absorption of organic fluids (blood, vomit, mucus ) and cannot be damaged by chemicals or solvents. Easy to clean and X-ray compatible.
