Product detailed description
The new mechanical prusik enables its users, who use the classic technique of prusik hoists, efficient movement in the crown of the trees. The friction chain of the mechanical Prussian PETZL ZIGZAG 2019 guarantees precise and smooth movements in all weather. The Prussian pulley is mounted on a ball bearing, which makes it easy to retrieve the rope. This mechanical prusik can be used for single-rope together with the additional PETZL CHICANE brake and also for classic two-rope technique and thus offers great versatility. The lower attachment hole is fixed to ensure alignment with the user's axis and optimize grip and control. The mechanical prusik is designed for ropes with a diameter of 11.5 - 13 mm.
The prusik can be supplemented with the PETZL KNEE ASCENT LOOP ascent knee set with footrest or carabiner and additional brake PETZL CHICANE.
For ZIGZAG we recommend ropes: Teufelberger Tachyon, Teufelberger drenaLINE or Cousin Lignum.
