Self-locking descending brake, which is primarily intended for work at heights and work with rope approach. The PETZL I´D S abseiling brake has an ergonomic handle, which enables comfortable control during rappelling. The integrated ANTI-PANIC system and the safety against incorrect installation of the rope ANTI-ERROR reduce the risk of an accident caused by user error. The AUTO-LOCK system enables easy positioning at the workstation without the need to handle the handle or secure the device with a knot. Once secured, the rope can be retrieved without having to handle the handle. Safety latch allows installation of the rope without having to disconnect the abseil brake from the harness. Designed for ropes with a diameter of 10 - 11.5 mm.
