Product detailed description
Self-locking abseiling brake with panic protection, which is primarily intended for rescue (does not have a latch on the connecting opening). The PETZL I´D L abseiling brake has an ergonomic handle, which enables comfortable control during abseiling. The panic safety is activated if the user presses the handle with too much force: the rotating cam is released, automatically blocking the rope and stopping the abseiling. The Cam, secured against a possible error, reduces the risk of an accident caused by incorrect installation of the device on the rope. The shape of the cam is designed to improve the passage of the rope during abseiling and allows for easy loosening and retrieving of the rope. Designed for ropes with a diameter of 12.5 - 13 mm.
